Hello everyone,
I am interested in purchasing a JBL soundbar and taking it to India through Kochin Airport.
It is priced at 179 KD, equivalent to 50,000 INR.
Would I be required to pay tax on this?
If anyone has information regarding this matter, could you please share.

To my knowledge no you don''t have to pay any tax experience from Chennai Airport also someone took it through Cochin and they didn''t pay any tax it was a Bose soundbar.
Please check the price in India, the cost of these soundbars in India are on par with Kuwait not a significant difference so better buy one there to avoid travel hassle and warranty problems.

There shouldn''t be any issue, as electronic items valued under 50,000 INR can be brought through Indian airports without complication.
