The amnesty offers relief to residents who, through no fault of their own, are labeled as illegal. However, a major concern is the lack of clarity regarding whether residents who use the amnesty to leave can return to Kuwait without complications. I personally face challenges due to an absconding case filed against me by my former sponsor without my knowledge, resulting in the cancellation of my residence after three months. Despite filing a case to address this issue over a year ago, there''s been no resolution. I considered utilizing the amnesty to rectify my status by paying the fine, but was informed that I need my former sponsor to withdraw the case or await the court''s judgment. This raises questions about how the amnesty can truly benefit residents when sponsors who misuse absconding cases to harass innocent employees are uncooperative. I''m unsure if I can rectify my status solely by paying the fine, as my former sponsor is uncooperative. With a hearing scheduled for next month, I''m uncertain about the outcome and whether it will be the final verdict or if the court will adjourn for another date. Can anyone on this forum provide some assistance or throw some light
