You will get a notification from Aramex once it is ready for dispatch or collection. It takes 10 to 15 days from your interview to get the passports. Then you can collect it from their Ardiya office.

@SS- Website shows visit visa processing time is 3 working days. Does it really take 10-15 days? We plan to travel to India after 5 days of the interview. Should we reschedule the travel?

@applicant, The information on US embassy website says "Please wait at least three business days following your visa interview to check on the status of your application." 3 days is only to check the status of your passport, not to actually get it. When you are tracking the status of your passport on the website if status shows "ready for pick up", it means you can go to the Aramex location you have chosen to pick up your passport. Aramex will also send a sms to collect your document. This takes approx 2 weeks. Please plan your travel accordingly.

@ST- Thanks for your comments. It means it will be ready in 3 days. As for Aramex, I have heard that if you choose Ardiya (free pickup), they will not send you a message but if you choose other locations (KD 4 charge), they will send you a message.
I am trying to contact Aramex (1820 011), there is no option to talk to a customer agent. Do you have any other contact details?

@applicant We got our visa application approved in May this year. We had selected Ardiya to collect the passport and received a message when the passport was ready for collection (I think 10 or 11 days after the interview).

@SS- Thanks for the clarification. However, I am going ahead with the assumption of 3 days processing time.

Thank you very much @ Sheri for your valuable input. Your tip gave me a great relief as I desperately needed the passport as I have planned to travel next weekend.
After checking the status in Aramex, I came to know that the passport is ready for collection for the past few days (interview held on 11th and passport is ready for collection since 15th). But the status in the APPLICATION / VISA PROFILE portal not updated correct status and shows that the passport is still with USA Embassy / Consulate.

My status update....
My passport was ready for collection within 4 working days from the date of interview.
Unfortunately, neither Aramex send SMS nor the passport status in the USA embassy updated to collect the passport.
However, I believe that as mentioned in the USA embassy website, the visa processing time is 3 to 4 days. (You can get the passport after 3 to 4 working days after interview) .
Thank you very much once again @ Sheri for your advice to check Aramex Whattsapp status check; without which I would not come to know my passport is ready for collection.

Just for the next person looking for this information. The passport status was updated from "Accepted" to "Issued" as per below link the very next day after the interview. https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx
You can know when it is ready to be released to Aramex as per the below link. It will be updated from "Passport is with US embassy" to "Passport is ready for pickup". https://www.ustraveldocs.com/kw/kw-loc-passportcollection.asp
Following which you can check with Aramex customer care for the shipment tracking number as the UID provided at the Embassy will not work on Aramex website.
I am not sure how often Aramex collects the passports from US embassy, but thankfully they collected my passport on the same day the status was updated to "Issued". Aramex sent a msg on whatsapp once their internal system was updated to show as ready for collection.
All in all, I got the passport the 3rd day after submission.

I applied through Comfort Travels. You can do the entire process by yourselves as well if you require. While they help in navigating the procedure, Pls note they enter your actual and true details which will be reviewed by the US embassy.
There was almost 90% rejection for single person tourists and weak business trip applications, you might have better luck going as a family.
If you have strong travel history, especially schengen areas then your application would be considered more favourably.

Mine was a business visit with supporting letter from company detailing clearly travel dates, exhibition dates and that they would shoulder all expenses. In addition my position was a Sales manager with adequate salary for the embassy official''''s review.
Overall, Embassy officials need to be convinced that your travel plans are legitimate and that you will not stay back in USA after the mentioned travel duration. they are more likely to consider your application if you have strong travel history to Europe, UK, Singapore etc.. Travel to GCC countries , east European countries and India are not of much help.
even upon applying as family, it needs to be evident that you will not stay back based on your application itself, trying to excessively convince them may make it seem as if you are bluffing.
if you have an invitation for exhibition, conference or marriage, these are considered as stronger reasons than just applying for tourist visa without travel to other countries. giving simple reasons such as visiting relatives, siblings or friends in US are rejected outright.
